The interdisciplinary projects require a trustful dialogue between ocean scientists and engineers. Most marine technology developments continue to lack scientific aims, and, on the other hand, scientists know little and are skeptical about the relevance of autonomous robots to ocean observation. The seminar will show case opportunities and challenges in past and ongoing case studies.
